What You Will Learn

After finishing this guide you will understand how to configure a proxy in the Bpmn Editor App.

What is a Proxy?

A proxy is a dedicated computer or a software system running on a computer that acts as an intermediary between an endpoint device, such as a computer, and another server from which a user or client is requesting a service.

Open the Proxy Settings

The Proxy-Settings can be found under Preferences > Proxy Settings.
You will be prompted with the following dialog:

What are non-proxy host?

As described above, a proxy acts as an intermediary between two devices (e.g client and server). By adding a non-proxy host, the connection to the host will be made directly and not by using the set proxy.
